Silk bassinet
This Lulla Smith bassinet, called "Bambini", is as beautiful as a wedding gown. With its petticoat made from layers of silk, and its gently shirred hood, this bed is ready to surround any lucky baby in beautiful luxury.

Lavender nursery in an attic
We discovered this lavender nursery by Kiki Dennis, and immediately fell in love with the flowery trellis print on the ceiling, and the subtle stripes in the carpet.
The use of a French bergère in place of the often-seen glider rocker adds an elegant touch. The darker wood lines of the chair make it stand out, in contrast to the white dresser and crib which blend into the background of the pale purple space.
And the rocking sheep looks so fluffy -- it, and the ruffled bedskirt, provide softness. The fact that the room is tucked under an upstairs gable makes it feel all the more cozy.
Just one picture, but it's lovely.
Canopy crib in a pink nursery
This nursery for a little girl is designed by Beth Kamhi.
We like it because it looks like a regular room in a regular home, with 8 foot ceilings, wall-to-wall carpet and few architectural details.
The recessed light above the chair in the corner seems like the only upgrade to the room. Everything else is an item placed in the room, or simply paint.
There are only two fabrics used besides the sheet, and we really like the geometry of the criss-crossed print.
The changing table looks to be new, but distressed. The chair looks new and comfy! The bed is iron, and we wonder if it's an antique. Anyone know where you can find it for sale?
